Example Schedule of 1 week in Dibulla, La Guajira
This schedule is just an example. You can customize your trip with us individually and you can decide on the duration of your stay.
Day 1 - Pick-up at Riohacha Airport
We’ll pick you up at Riohacha Airport and take you to your accommodation in Dibulla. Settle into the family-run hostel, meet your hosts and fellow volunteers, and take some time to relax and get your first impression of this peaceful coastal village.

Day 2 - Learn how to play Colombian Drums
Start your cultural experience with a hands-on tambores workshop. Learn the basics of traditional Colombian drums, discover the rhythms behind local music, and experience this important part of Colombia’s Caribbean culture together with local musicians.

Days 3 - 4 Activities with the Children
Spend meaningful days getting involved with local children and the community. Support educational activities, play games, take part in sports, and share your own skills and ideas. It’s a great opportunity to build genuine connections while contributing to the children’s daily activities and learning in the community.

Day 5 - Wild Flamingos & indigenous community
Explore the natural and cultural diversity of La Guajira. Discover wild flamingos in their natural habitat and visit Indigenous communities to learn more about their traditions, culture, and connection to the region.

Day 6-7 More Volunteer Activities with the Children
Continue your volunteer experience by spending more time with the local children and community. Take part in educational activities, sports, games, and creative sessions while building meaningful connections and making a positive contribution to the community.
